Assistant Manager

Job Summary

We're looking for an energetic and driven Assistant Manager to help lead our 11Max Indoor Fun Park
and bring our culture of 11Maxxing experiences to life! In this role, you'll support daily
operations, coach & empower team members, and drive performance by leading with positivity,
accountability, and a hands-on approach. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to ensure
smooth execution of company standards, guest satisfaction, and team success — making every visit
unforgettable.

Responsibilities

  • Support a positive team environment where exceptional guest service is the standard.

  • Lead by example to ensure consistent performance, energy, and professionalism from all staff.

  • Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and retaining top talent.

  • Address performance issues constructively to support team growth and accountability.

  • Help develop and manage weekly team schedules to align with business needs.

  • Ensure proper staffing and lead coverage to deliver a seamless guest experience.

  • Motivate the team by recognizing strengths, boosting morale, and reinforcing goals.

  • Identify and mentor team members for leadership growth and internal promotion.

  • Support execution of recognition & incentive programs that celebrate wins and drive performance.

  • Assist with inventory control, cost management, and daily financial procedures.

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments — including attractions, food, beverage, and cleanliness.

  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety, functionality, and brand standards.

  • Promote a safe, clean, and secure environment for both staff and guests.

  • Maintain a strong focus on operational details and uphold 11Max’s brand standards.

  • Step in and support wherever needed — flexibility and teamwork are key!

Qualifications

Leadership Experience:

  • 1+ year of supervisory or management experience in hospitality or a related guest-facing industry.

  • Demonstrated success in motivating teams and supporting operational goals.

  • Background in theme parks, restaurants, hotels, or family entertainment centers preferred.

Communication & People Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats.

  • Comfortable interacting with guests, staff, and management with energy and enthusiasm.

  • Able to build & maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Professionalism & Personal Traits:

  • Highly professional, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Consistent modeling of appropriate grooming, conduct, and personal presentation.

  • Openness to feedback and committed to personal and team development.

  • Values diversity and demonstrates respect for all individuals.

  • Recognized for sound decision-making and responsible judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Operational & Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

  • Skilled in identifying challenges, solving problems, and supporting team efficiency.

  • Ability to recognize performance trends and assist in operational improvements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements:

  • Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Comfortable working in a loud, high-energy, fast-paced environment for extended periods.

  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

  • Able to pass a thorough background check.
